Submitting a Flight Track to Condor Club
- After you have exited a flight, you will see this dialogue box:
- Select 'Save Flight Track'. You can then name the file. It is recommended you use the date in the name when naming the file to make it easier to find later. For example "2025-01-01(CN)" where (CN) is your contest number. The default save point is 'Documents>Condor3>FlightTracks'. It is best to save at the default point for replaying, analyzing and loading ghost tracks later. This will save a .ftr file which is used by Condor Club for scoring.
- You can also save an IGC file by selecting 'ANALYZE FLIGHT' and then 'IGC export' on the next screen. It is recommended to include the date in the file, same as saving the FTR file. The .igc file can be used for your own analysis and uploaded to online contests like Skylines Condor.
- Head to Condor Club and find the competition day you are submitting the flight track for. Click on the 'Race Results' tab and click the 'Choose File' button. Navigate to where you saved your flight track, select it and click 'Open'. Then click 'Submit' and your flight track should be uploaded and you will be automatically scored.
Forgot to Save Flight Track After Flight
If you forgot to save your flight track after the flight, do not fear, there is a way to find it. However, DO NOT FLY IN CONDOR AGAIN or you will overwrite your flight.
Go to your default flight tracks folder 'Documents>Condor3>FlightTracks'. Find the file named 'LastTrack.ftr' and rename it. Once it is renamed, it will not be overwritten and you can submit the file to Condor Club as above.
If you want a .igc file from the flight track, you can open Condor and select 'FLIGHT ANALYSIS'. Click the 'Load' button and select the flight track. Then select the 'IGC Export' button to save a .igc file.
