Quest 3 Audio Settings

To configure audio on the quest 3, the easiest thing to do is mirror the audio from the computer source, that way you'll always have audio on the quest.

Open the Oculus app on the PC (or meta quest or whatever)

Click the arrow on your device

Set the quest 3 mic to max

Set the quest 3 headphones to middle-ish

Check Hear VR audio from computer

Check Hear computer audio in VR

Now when I open sound settings (via control panel or via the tray icon on the bottom right bar of the desktop) in windows 10 I can have my audio settings to what I use normally (speaker and mic) and not have to fiddle with audio and mic from the quest 3.

I'll hear audio from both sources, my selected source as well as the quest 3.

This works.
