Quest 3 Audio in Discord

To use the Quest 3 in discord it's best to purposely configure Discord to use the speaker and mic from the Quest 3 itself.

In the US Soaring discord channel click the settings wheel

Then Voice and Video

Then configure the audio device to Oculus Virtual audio devices so that Discord is ALWAYS using the speaker and mic on the Quest 3.

You can also configure push to talk (highly recommended) and define the PTT key. Shown here is numpad period as its on the right side of the keyboard (right hand) and can be easily found without looking at the keyboard.

You can also change to Voice Activity (no push to talk) which is handy flying dual with someone and you can "just talk". Don't forget to change it back before joining the main voice chat on a regular flying day.
