Do I need a Joystick? Rudder Pedals? Full Cockpit?
In short, yes. Some Condor users use XBox controllers and it is even possible to use a keyboard for all controls. But it is recommended to use at least a Joystick to control the glider. Condor has an Auto Rudder feature if you do not want to buy rudder pedals. However, to get the most realistic experience from Condor a set of rudder pedals are highly recommended.
Joystick Recommendations:
Budget: Logitech G Extreme 3D PRO Joystick
Old but great: Microsoft Force Feedback 2 - excellent trim feel
Rudder Pedal Recommendations:
Budget: Logitech G Pro Flight Rudder Pedals
High end: Thrustmaster TPR Pedals
Stands:
Mophorn Gaming Steering Wheel Stand
VEVOR G29 G920 Racing Steering Wheel Stand
Cockpit Setups:
The example below uses a Microsoft Force Feedback 2, Logitech G Pro Flight Rudder Pedals, Merdia Numeric Wired Keypad, A USB hub, Wireless Keyboard and Mouse on a Zero Racing Steering Wheel Stand (repurposed Sim Racing Stand, not sure if it is produced anymore). The usb hub allows for a single connection for all Condor peripherals with your PC making it easier to connect and disconnect if your setup is not stationary. An extension USB cord may be required if your computer is a distance from your seat. This setup requires a power cord for the Microsoft Force Feedback 2.
